At Wadestown School, we want all students to reason and apply numerical concepts while comprehending fundamental operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Developing number knowledge and a range of strategies to work with numbers are important.
Real-life situations are used through-out the school and students are given opportunities, activities and events to practise, apply and improve their skills.
We develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills while giving students an interest in mathematics and an appreciation of the “magic of numbers”.
