When side school teachers log on to a PC using their own user-name they should be automatically connected to both their user folder (U:\ drive) and the side school staff share (T:\ drive) as shown in the picture below.

We don't connect automatically to the main school staff share because maintaining this connection makes the side school PCs run very slowly. It's better to connect just when we need to use it. Two ways to connect are now described, use whichever method you find easiest.
Execute a script to connect
Execute the file 'connect_staff_share.bat' by double-clicking it. The file is in the ITAdmin folder on the side school staff share.
Browse
Open 'My Computer' and type '\\10.215.32.11\Share' into the 'Address' field as shown in the picture below.

The connection to the (main school) staff share should be gone the next time you log on to the computer.
If you are trying to do this for the first time and it isn't working then you could ask one of your colleagues to show you how.
If you can normally do this but it isn't working today then restart your computer and have another go. Restarting the computer will solve many problems!
If you have restarted the computer and it still won't work then the file server may be having problems so please let Alan know by email, giving the following details:
